The Non-invasive Department of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim will organize its 3rd Basic Echocardiography Course on Wednesday and Thursday 27-28 August 2014.
The Course Director Dr. Mohammed Saied said that the course will focus on the most important rules of the medical examination of the heart, anatomy of the heart and functions, and evaluated by testing two-dimensional "Doppler" with the diagnosis of common diseases of the heart through sound waves. Some of the topic that will be discussed is the Practical Physic in Echocardiography, Principle of 2DE and M Mode, Principle of Doppler Echocardiography, Principle of Systolic LV Function, Aortic Valve Anatomy and Aortic Valve Disease , Principle of Hemodynamic Evaluation, Cardiomyopathy and Pericardial Diseases.
He pointed out that the trainees will have the opportunity to practice hands-on, how to conduct testing and cardiac imaging.
This activity is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for (12) CME hours.
