Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has been granted full accreditation by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as both a training center and educational program for Saudi Fellowship Certificate in the field of Anesthesia.
PSCCQ Center Director Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned received the formal letter accompanied by the decision of accreditation from the Deputy Secretary General of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties Dr. Sulaiman Al Omran. This is the end result of the recommendation prepared by the Commission after making an ocular visit to the center.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mesned stated that this recognition is the culmination of the efforts initiated by the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Qassim and the work developed in the field of education and training according to the vision that PSCCQ has set to become a leader in education and training. Dr Al Mesned also added that this accreditation will contribute to the growth in the field of cardiology specifically in the Qassim Region and Saudi Arabia in general, as it helps to ease the involvement of doctors in the training program without having to look for other centers offering a fellowship program like this outside the region.
