With great numbers of individuals participated in the recently concluded 19th Awareness campaign for prevention of heart Disease lunched by Prince Sultan cardiac Center Al Qassim during the Ramadan Festival Heritage “Craft” which lasted for five days.
Ms. Mariam Al Harbi, the executive director and chief of health education of PSCCQ explained the objective of this campaign which includes several education workshops to encourage people to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and raising the awareness of having a healthy heart. Regular check-up, eating the right and healthy foods, avoiding smoking, maintaining one's average body mass index, and having a positive outlook in life are just some of the few things we should do to keep our heart healthy this includes educational workshop to urge the people to know the importance of having a healthy lifestyle.
The Prince of Qassim Region, His Royal highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar had visited the campaign during the last day of the Festival where he was received and brief by the Deputy center Director, Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan for the activities happening and the goals of the campaign organized by the center. Meanwhile the prince praised of all the staff behind this campaign for the awareness of prevention of heart disease for their effort and he wished them continued success for their endeavor.
