Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Al-Qassim participated in raising awareness about hypertension May 17, 2022 Tuesday.  This was in line with the celebration of the World Hypertension Day.  This day is dedicated to highlighting the importance of monitoring blood pressure and bringing global awareness. It is a fact that Hypertension is the #1 risk factor for heart disease, stroke, renal complications, and premature death. Usually, high blood pressure alone does not cause any symptoms. Fortunately, hypertension can be prevented and managed by checking your blood pressure regularly and through proper treatment.

The Department of Change Management & Communication in collaboration with Nursing Service department took its participation by holding a short exhibition in the outpatient department for patient and visitor to educate community about a healthy lifestyle that helps control blood pressure and reduce the chances of high blood pressure.

The management of PSCCQ stressed that the center is always keen to activate all global health celebration to promote community awareness to achieve a healthy lifestyle for all.
