The Center Director of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mesnid proudly honored the center's medical coordination department after achieving the green zone and the first place in the index of emergency of medical referrals at the district level of Qassim region for the year 2020.

The honor was conducted after receiving a message of praise and gratitude from Dr. Abdu-illah Al-Hadaythi, the Executive Vice President at the Health Cluster in Al-Qassim.  Dr. Al-Hadaythi was genuinely impressed with the department's excellence and distinction in its quick response in dealing and responding to the referrals sent to the center and for efficiently and effectively accepting and transferring emergency medical referrals. Their excellent commitment and dedication to work served as the measured through their prompt response and effective handling of the medical referrals sent inside and outside the region. This recognition eventually led to the department’s satisfying feeling in achieving the desired objectives of the medical referral center.

On the other hand, the Head of Medical Coordination Department, Ms. Ghaida Saad Al-Najem, explicitly shared that the medical coordination department is responsible in arranging admission and entry of all patients transferred from peripheral hospitals in all regions in the entire Kingdom. They also served as the bridge that helps and assists the patients to reach the center's medical staff and obtain the required medical service, in record time whether from admission or appointments. The patients must get the medical service upon receipt of their medical report. After which, the medical coordination team completes all administrative procedures for providing service to the patients.

The honor is another milestone for the center especially from the Medical Coordination Department. This is a reflection and the mirror of the center's unending quest for the best service.
