He stressed out that PSCCQ's excellence has so far exceeded all levels. He was also glad that they have initiated to activate the celebration of International Day of Down Syndrome.

Likewise, PSCCQ center director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned was more than glad to have given the audience and preview of the programs. He further explained that the center will continually live to its vision in line with the 2030 vision of the Kingdom. Like providing early detection of the cases of each patient, and raising the efficiency of medical staff from doctors, nurses, and technicians through the provision of accredited diplomas and fellowships from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. He further discussed the services and programs imbibed in the center's campaign under the slogan, "Your Heart is Your Life, Protect Your Youth".

Moreover, Dr. Al-Mesned shared ample information about Down syndrome. He said that Down syndrome is a set of physical and mental traits caused by a gene problem that happens before birth. It is caused by a chromosomal dysplasia. Normally, a person has 46 chromosomes but people with Down syndrome have 47 chromosomes. He further explained that this is often accompanied by weakness in the mental capacity and physical growth of the person.

On the other hand, the Head of the Health Education Dept and the Executive Director of the campaign, Ms. Mariam Ghaleb Al-Harbi, said that this time, this particular campaign is purposely set to cater the children. It was a fact that Down syndrome considerably dominates a large proportion of the center's reported cases. Thus, in order to raise the parent's awareness, this International Day of Down Syndrome was indeed designed for them. The program was wrapped up with educational information’s and factual theories about Down Syndrome's definition, statistics, risk factors, diagnosis, complications, care, and consultation. They also distributed gifts and brochures containing awareness information.

Furthermore, Ms. Al-Harbi pointed out that the campaign triggered the center to be inspired in gearing on with its social responsibility of being an instrument in helping the people alleviate their poor health conditions. The center is trying to reach out to the people through its campaign awareness programs.

The activity turned out into a great success. The participants exceeded more than what is expected. More than 350 visitors in addition to a large number of the participating children took a significant part in the success of the program. It was indeed a worthy and fulfilled day for everyone especially the children who were also given the chance to indulge in a drawing workshop.
