PSCCQ is pleased to announce the acceptance of a research paper titled   (PDA device closure with and without arterial access) for presentation   in the upcoming 7th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery (WCPCCS) which will take place on July 16 - 21, 2017, in the Centre Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB), Barcelona, Spain.

Dr Ali Al-Akhfash with his colleagues Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned and Dr. Abdullah Al Gweey mentioned that doing PDA device closure with venous access without arterial access in selected cases might reduce the procedure time as well as reduce the radiation exposure of the patient in Cath lab team. It also avoids the well known risks of arterial puncture in pediatric patients.
