PSCCQ successfully concluded the Basic Pediatric Echocardiography Course

The Department of Pediatric Cardiology of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has successfully concluded the course entitled The Basic Pediatric Echocardiography Course: Knobology, Image Optimization and Optimum Use of Echo Machines at Maternity & Children’s Hospital Buraidah.

The session included the provision of intensive lectures on imaging of the heart of the children in particular. It also conducted introductory workshop with cardiac imaging and a detailed method of filming the heart of the children. More importantly, they were taught on how to properly take and record images clearly.

 A total of 40 participants were in attendance for the said course from various health sectors in the Qassim region. This course comes within the framework of educational activities designed by Department of Education Training and Research of PSCCQ. This activity has been approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for (7 CME) Hours.

The guest participant from the State of Kuwait, Dr. Sundos Abdulrahman Aghod gave notable praises for the updated and advanced scientific level of the session. She also never failed to acknowledge and emphasize the good and exceptional organization and the warm hospitality of the people. More so, she holds an excellent impression to both organizers and speakers
 
Dr. Ali Al Akhfash, the Chairman of the organizing committee stated that the said activity was characterized by the quality of the lectures and its corresponding practical training using the necessary device. They imparted the right and correct scientific way of heart imaging. Furthermore, Dr. Ali Al Akhfash grabbed the opportunity to extend his sincerest gratitude to the Directorate of Health Affairs, Dr. Alkamaly, to PSCCQ's Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned for their unsparing and magnanimous support to the entire center's endeavors especially this course. Likewise, he also thanked Dr. Abdullah Al Guwee, the Head of the Pediatric Department, all the staff, technicians, nurses, participants, the organizing team and everyone who had contributed to the success of the event. Their joint efforts had made the activity truly successful.

Lastly, he also praised and thanked Dr. Fahad Al Habshan, the Head of Pediatric Cardiology of King Abdulazis National Guard Riyadh.
