Prince Sultan Cardiac Center AL Qassim is pleased to announce the commencement of the BASIC Pediatric  Echocardiography Course: Knobology, Image Optimization and Optimum Use of Echo Machines which will be held on February 2, 2017 at Maternity & Children's Hospital Auditorium.

Dr. Ali Al Akhfash, Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist announced that this course will be presented by excellent physicians who specialize in the field of Pediatric Cardiology  from King Abdulaziz Cardiac Center National Guard, Riyadh Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Al Akfash, Course coordinator points out that  this session will provide intensive lectures on imaging of the heart of the children; it will also be doing a workshop identifiable with heart imaging and the method of filming the heart of the children in details and how to take record of images in correct and clear manner. Dr. Ali Al Akhfash, Pediatric Cardiologist and Chairman of the Organizing Committee added that this scientific activity is one of the ongoing activities that the center is holding in addition to the annual Fetal Echocardiography Course.

This course comes within the educational and training activities organized by the center to develop and enhance the skills of medical practitioners. The target audiences are Adult and Pediatric Cardiologist, ER, NICU-ICU Physicians,  Sonographers Nurses and Technician.  It is accredited for 7 CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
