Governor of Qassim recognized and acknowledged PSCCQ for leaping into innovation and development from quality services during the opening ceremony of the 6th Innovation in Critical Nursing Symposium

His Royal Highness Dr. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud Al Saud, Governor of Qassim region praised the entire health sector of the Qassim Region especially Prince Sultan Cardiac Center who have turned to provide quality services with regards to the innovation, development, and the training of scientific and professional health practitioners. He pointed out that the participation of a considerable number of outstanding competent specialists and researchers in the field of nursing from within and outside the Kingdom is an additional dimension in influencing the success of the conference. More so, his Royal Highness acknowledges the presence of everyone around especially the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah.

The speech of His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region in the presence of the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah, came during the opening ceremony of the 6th Innovation in Critical Care Nursing Symposium bearing the theme “Excellence in Critical Care Nursing" which was organized by the Directorate General of Health Affairs in Al-Qassim Region represented by Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim held at the Movenpick Hotel.

Upon the arrival of His Highness, the Emir of Qassim Region, he cuts the ribbon for the opening of the exhibition and at the same time, he was given a heads up about the health services provided and offered by PSCCQ and center’s achievements.

 

For his part, the PSCCQ director Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned was greatly honored to welcome all the distinguished guests, national and international speakers, and participants to the 6th Innovation in Critical Care Nursing Symposium. To add, he is beaming with pride and overflowing joy and appreciation to acknowledge the presence of the General Director of Health Affairs Mr. Motlaq Al Khamly Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabiah and of course, on behalf of PSCCQ, he was more than thankful to His Royal Highness - the Emir of Qassim Region, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud Al Saud  for unselfishly spending his time and effort to grace this affair.

 

Much more, Dr. Al Mesned emphasized that this particular event is now its 6th consecutive year. PSCCQ had been doing this annually as a fundamental part of the strategic training plan management which aims to train, enhance, and develop the skills of nursing staff in the field of critical care. As part of our mission to serve the people better, we would like to be a part in teaching the nurses on how to deal with emergencies, may it be easy, or critical in accordance with the latest developments based on scientific research.

 

Meanwhile, the Director General of Health Affairs Qassim, Mr. Mutlaq Al Khamly sincerely expressed his utmost thanks and noteworthy praises to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Qassim region for sponsoring the conference and likewise acknowledged the presence of Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, for spending their time and effort in visiting the region. He further stressed out that the conference will definitely include several lectures and workshops in the field of critical care and it will also extend its lectures on how to deal with emergency situations.


The opening ceremony was highlighted with a brief visual presentation introducing the health services provided and offered by PSCCQ together with a supporting statistical and numerical data.
 

Moreover, the event also includes distribution of certificates to those who have successfully finished and completed Adult Cardiology Fellowship Program, Non- invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program, and Cardiovascular Nursing Program. Most importantly, PSCCQ is indeed proud of our very own Dr. Rami Abazid and Dr. Osama Smettie for winning an award from the Saudi Heart Association and definitely for bringing pride and honor to the whole center.

With almost 500 medical practitioners were in attendance from various hospitals in the Kingdom. This two-day symposium was substantially filled with a series of educational and informative lectures and practical workshops.

Prior to the final pronouncement of the end of the two-day symposium, Ms. Kahkashan Sana, PSCCQ Nursing Director, delivered her Closing Remarks with satisfaction, gladness, and contentment. She was sincerely thankful to each and everyone who were all a part of the event's success. They truly made a great assembly of the best speakers, lecturers, and all the participants as well.

Before the day ended the distribution of certificates for the Best Clinical Nurses for the year 1437 and likewise plaque of appreciation for the invited speakers was proudly given by PSCCQ's Center Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulazis Al Mesned and his Deputy Center Director Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan.
