PSCCQ ORGANIZES REGIONAL CARDIOLOGY MEETING

The Department of Education, Training and Research of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Qassim held last Saturday, December 10, 2016, the Regional Cardiology Meeting at King Fahd Specialist Hospital Auditorium. This was participated in by approximately 40 medical professionals who enjoyed a couple of hours listening to a series of lectures which are deemed important to be learned by anybody.

This course was accredited by SCHS for 5 CME hours and it was bound to give focus and emphasis on the ROLE OF ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY AND OTHER IMAGING MODALITIES IN CARDIOMYOPATHY.

Accordingly, the discussion includes the role of cardiac ultrasound imaging as well as other diagnostic methods in the diagnosis and treatment of muscle diseases. It must be notable that through this method, they have learned to identify the types of muscle disorders and its matching modern methods of treatment. Moreover, lecturers have also tackled the role and value of ultrasound and Doppler imaging in addition to the role of cardiac axial tomography as well as the role of cardiac imaging by magnetic resonance device.

The said meeting was graced with the presence of PSCCQ consultants who also stood as lecturers namely, Dr. Mohammed Saeed, Dr. Rahim Gul, and Dr. Osama Smettie. They were truly grateful to the people who took part in jointly making the program a real success.
