34th AWARENESS CAMPAIGN FOR PREVENTION OF HEART DISEASE

PSCCQ recently held the 34th Health Awareness Campaign carrying the slogan, "Your Heart, Your Life, and Protect Young Heart." This was well-participated by a massive presence of more than 500 students of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the Qassim College headed and administered by Dr. Badria Abdul Aziz Al Saeed.

PSCCQ's center director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned, further explained that the main aim of the said campaign is to reach out to college students, faculties, and employees and purposely give lectures, advices, information, and even workshops on how to maintain a healthy heart. Together with PSCCQ's competent medical staff, they will initiate the move and convince the participants to start living a healthy life which simply means that they need to leave and change their negative habits with regards to their choices of food as well as their daily activities that may lead themselves to acquire heart ailment. In short, Dr. Al Mesned emphasized that the center is indeed greatly concern with the people's health and in order to live up to their ideals and mission of serving the community, they are consistently doing the campaign to raise the people's level of awareness regarding the risks of having a heart disease and therefore help them achieve a healthy kind of living.

On the other hand, Dr. Badria Al Saeed gladly extends his gratefulness and appreciation to the PSCCQ director as well as the entire PSCCQ staff for including and counting them in into the list of the venues where the campaign should be held. In behalf of the whole college, Dr. Al Saeed also gave his overwhelming thanks for having them as the respondents for this time and remarkably made sure that they will be mindful enough of the true content and essence being conveyed by the health campaign.

Furthermore, Mariam Al Harbi, the Head of Health Education Department, reported that 330 out of the 500 participants were medically examined during the campaign. Moreover, she also never failed to acknowledge Dr. Al Saeed and the students for their collaborative efforts and unselfish cooperation in making the campaign a real success.

Thus, this particular endeavor ended up with the distribution of certificates of thanks and appreciation to honor the team.
