PSCCQ successfully launched the 5th International Nursing Symposium

The Director General of Health Affairs in Qassim Region, Mr. Mutlaq Alkhamaly along with more than 300 participants from various hospitals within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, were altogether assembled during the 5th Innovation in Critical Care Nursing Conference with the theme "Nurses:  Driving Force for Innovation". This was recently concluded last January 6-7, 2016 at Movenpick Hotel, City of Buraidah. This two-day event was organized by the PSCCQ Nursing Service Department.

The conference was highlighted with a presentation by a group of excellent qualified nurses as well as nurses with specialization in intensive care coming from inside and outside Saudi Arabia. This course was also substantially supplemented with 15 scientific lectures and six workshops. And the opening ceremony was contained with a brief visual presentation introducing the health services provided and offered by PSCCQ and was supported by statistics.

 

Ms. Kahkashan Sana, the PSCCQ Nursing Director, warmly welcomed both the international and national guest speakers as well as the participants of the conference. She likewise expressed her appreciation and pleasure for the inkling and realization of the said activity because she believed that this particular event will definitely help improve the quality of nursing services and enhance their skills.

 

To add, the PSCCQ Director, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulazis Al-Mesned congenially welcomed the Director General of Health Affairs in Qassim, Mr. Alkhamaly and furthermore conveys his gratefulness for the Director General's sponsorship of the conference. Dr. Al-Mesned also extends his gratitude to the distinguished speakers who unselfishly shared their expertise and learned knowledge, to the participants who willfully joined the event and to the organizing committee for their untiring efforts to reach this level of innovation as well as their 5 years of hard work and dedication to their service.

Like Dr. Al-Mesned and Ms. Sana, the Director General of Health Affairs in Qassim, Mr. Alkhamaly also welcomed all the joining society of the 5th Nursing Conference. He gladly spoke out of his overwhelming joy in attending this worthwhile event. He further stressed out that training and development are the objectives and goals of The Directorate of Health Affairs in the region. His speech was filled with both sense of acknowledgement and gratitude to everyone who had been a part of the event's success. He gave thanks to the participants, the speakers, and the organizing committee for their devoted time and efforts and most of all, he thanked the PSCCQ Director Dr. Al-Mesned for willing and unhesitant holding the activity which is a big contributory factor in making and shaping up better nurses with enhanced and developed skills. The output and outcome of the conference will be reflected on the kind of services they will be rendering to their patients.

The event finally concluded with an awarding ceremony. The Director General for Health Affairs in Qassim Region remarkably awarded the Best Clinical Nurse for the year 1436.
