PSCCQ launched its 26th Awareness Campaign at Al Othaim Mall

The General Director of Health Affairs in Qassim Region Mr. Motlaq Khamly along with PSCCQ Center Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned and his Deputy Director Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan  Inaugurated the 26th Awareness Campaign organized by Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim under the slogan "Your heart, Your life.. Protect young heart" held at Al Othaim Mall in the city of Buraidah.

After the inauguration, the team members of the awareness campaign assisted in getting the weight measurement, blood sugar test, cholesterol check and provided medical consultation to the guests who attended the activity.  Also guests were advised on the appropriate preventive measure of heart ailments based on their medical results.

During the campaign PSCCQ Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned explains the objective of the campaign is to disseminate the information on the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and to be able to educate all members of the society. Dr. Al Mesned also discussed about taking care of the heart and how to avoid acquiring heart diseases, eating the right foods, doing regular exercise, and avoiding smoking can greatly reduce the risk of heart ailments. At the end of program, tokens were distributed among the participants along with brochures that contained topics for the prevention of heart disease

The General Director himself was pleased with the outcome of the campaign and he hope that the desire objective will be achieved in raising the awareness on the importance of prevention of such disease. He also extends his appreciation and thank to the organizers led by the center director. PSCCQ is truly grateful for the support and cooperation of the General Directorate of Health Affairs.

According to Ms. Mariam Al Harbi, executive director for the awareness campaign, this campaign is part of a continued drive to spread general awareness to all people. Ms. Al Harbi extended her appreciation to all who responded and gladly participated in the awareness campaign launched by PSCCQ.
