The Department of Education, Training and Research of PSCCQ has successfully concluded its 4th Basic Echocardiography Course, today 27 of August 2015 at PSCCQ Conference Hall. Dr. Mohammad Saied, Course coordinator formally opened the 2- day course where he welcomed all the participants to this course. The target audiences were fellows, Physician from peripheral Hospital, Sonographer, Technician and Nurses.

Dr. Mohammed Saied said that this course focused on the most important rules of the medical examination of the heart, anatomy of the heart and its functions, and evaluated by testing two-dimensional and Doppler with the get acquainted with the diagnosis of diseases common to the heart via echo. The lectures consist of theoretical part with around 20 lectures and the second part is workshops. 

A total of sixty (60) participants were in attendance from various health sectors in the Qassim region. This course comes within the framework of educational activities designed by the Department of Education, Training and Research of PSCCQ. This activity has been approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for (15 CME) Hours.
