The General Director of Health Affairs in Qassim, Mr. Motlaq Al Kamahly visited Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim today (Thursday) where he met with the Director of the center, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned along with his deputy director Mr. Abdullah Al Fouzan and a number of the administrative and medical staff of the center.
The General Director lauded the level of service performance by the center and the support of the diagnostic and therapeutic services offered for advanced cardiac patients in the region. He also praised the efforts exerted by those in charge both the administrative and medical staff and he urged them to continue their effort to provide medical care to all the patients.
PSCCQ director Dr. Al Mesned made a comprehensive presentation supported by figures and statistics including the history of the center and its medical services provided to the patients and he also brief the General Director on the latest developments and achievement of the center. On the other Mr. Al Fouzan discussed the administrative operating services and the budget allocated to the center and he also cited some of the obstacles and challenges faced by the center.
The General Director and his team also visited some of the departments included Outpatient Department, CCU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, Cardiology Ward and Medical Coordination and got briefed on the services provided to the patients. Likewise he also visited the Pediatric Cardiology Department located at Maternity Hospital in Buraidah where the project "under- construction" allocated to the Department of Pediatric ICU, Department of Pediatric catheterization Laboratory and Pediatric Surgery Department. The Center director elaborate the plans and objectives of this project. Mr. Motlaq Al Kamahly gives his directives to accomplish this project and coordinate with the agency responsible to finish this project.
The general director concluded his visit to the center with closed-door meeting with his entourage and leaders of the center to discussed and conceptualize plans for the next phase. For his part, PSCCQ director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mesned expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the General Director and his team for this visit.
During the visit the general Director was accompanied by his Assistant Director in Therapeutic Affairs Dr. Sultan Al Shaya and Assistant for Projects and Engineering Engr. Saleh Alrauajja and Director of Medical Maintenance and Non-Medical Engr. Mohammad Anzi and Director of Patient Relationship Management Dr. Fadel Alfadel and Director of his Office Mr. Ghanem Al Amri and Director of Public Relations and Health Information in the Directorate Mr. Ahmad Al-Balhan.
