PSCCQ successfully concluded the 3rd Regional Cardiology Meeting

The 3rd Regional Cardiology meeting organized  by the Education, Training and Research Department of Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim has successfully concluded yesterday, April 25, 2015 at Al Massa Hall of Movenpick Hotel Buraidah. The meeting were also  attended by distinguished and experienced guest speakers Dr. Hussam Al Faleh, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist from King Khaled University Hospital Riyadh, Dr. Mehboob Ali Dar, PSCCQ Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, Dr. Hassan Khalaf, PSCCQ Head of Education, Training and Research Department Dr. Rahim Gul, Consultant Cardiologist   and Dr. Muhammad Owid, Assistant Professor from Suliman Alrajhi College.

 The 3rd Regional Cardiology Meeting  entitled "Acute Coronary Syndrome in Qassim Province" was deemed a success.  Hundred sixty (160) medical professional participated from various hospital in Qassim Region.   The Head of Education, Training and Research Department, Dr. Hassan Khalaf officially opened the program, also he welcomed  the speakers and participants. The meeting addressed the issues and discussion of Acute Coronary Syndrome in Qassim Region. The topics includes the (ACS) Pathogenesis and Risk Management, Coronary Intervention in ACS: Guidelines Reviewed, Saudi STEMI Program, Value of Public Awareness to combat MI, Chest Pain Awareness and Survey in Diabetic Center and Primary PCI in PSCCQ.  


This activity is part of the program launched by the Education, Training and Research Department of PSCCQ and is likewise accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for Five (5) CME hours.
