Governor Fahad Al Slaim, Governor of Unaizah along with Dr. Salah Al Kharaz General Director of health Affairs in Qassim region inaugurated the 20th Awareness campaign organized by Prince Sultan Cardiac Center Al Qassim under the slogan "Your heart, Your life.. protect young heart".
After the inauguration, health workers assisted in getting the weight measurement, blood sugar test, cholesterol check and provided medical consultation to the guests who attended the activity. Also guests were accorded and advised on the appropriate preventive measure of heart ailments based on their medical results.
During the campaign PSCCQ Director, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mesned explain the objective of this campaign is to disseminate the information on the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and to be able to educate all members of the society. Dr. Al Mesned also discussed about taking care of the heart and how to avoid acquiring heart diseases, eating the right foods, doing regular exercise, and avoiding smoking can greatly reduce the risk of heart ailments.
The governor himself was pleased with the outcome of the campaign and he hope that the desire objective will be achieved in raising the awareness on the importance of prevention of such disease. He also extend his appreciation and thank to the organizers led by the center director.
The event was attend by numbers of provincial government employees, public school student and officials of Unaizah Health Department.
