Department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery performs a full spectrum of cardiac interventions, from routine operations to the most complex open heart procedures. Cases that need surgical intervention in Qassim Region are referred to Center by Ministry of Health Facilities. It is worthy to mention that our department is considered pioneer in the field of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery and is ranked among the top national pediatric cardiac surgery facilities.
The total number of Cardiac Surgeries performed in 2016 was 204, among which 80 surgeries (39.2%) were open-heart operations
