Our department is built on the effective communication between patients, their families, and the Health Educators. Health Educators convey health information for multiple purposes including but not limited to promoting a healthy patient lifestyle, increasing the patient’s and family’s potential to follow the therapeutic health care plan and enhancing the patient’s and family’s role in continuing care, providing patients and families with information about the proper and safe use of medications |
