The fellowship program is designed to make a smooth transition from mastering the basic techniques and skills of cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesiology to advanced training, including transeosophageal echocardiography. In addition, there are opportunities for participation in ongoing laboratory-based or clinical research. A core of dedicated and experienced cardiac anesthesiologists provides supervision and training. At the conclusion of training, the fellow will be confident as an independent practitioner with a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesiologists

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1.    Official copy of medical graduation certificate (MD, PhD or equivalent)

2.    Official copy of internship completion certificate

3.    Graduated from a 4-year Anesthesiology Residency Program.

4.    Satisfactory residency performance, as evidenced by recommendation letters and performance evaluations. 

5.    Integrity, motivation, and overall interest in cardiac anesthesiology as a subspecialty.

6.    Must hold a full and unrestricted license to practice anesthesiology.

7.    Saudi Selection Exam Result + SCFHS accreditation

8.    Copy of at least three (3) recent letters of recommendation 

9.    Copy of your Saudi ID Card (for Saudis ), or copy of Passport (for non-Saudis ) 

10. A recent photograph (passport size, colored) 

11. Updated curriculum vitae

12. Copy of board certification(s) [Saudi Board, Arab Board, MRCP, FRCP, Jordanian Board, etc.]
