PSCCQ’S CENTER FOR CLINICAL SIMULATION AND TRAINING HOLDS TRAINING FOR MEDICAL TEAMS

The Center for Clinical Simulation and Training of Clinical Skills at Prince Sultan Center for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery in Al-Qassim held training for 76 medical teams with the participation of 12 accredited trainers from the center. This is to fully prepare the doctors who are not specialized in intensive care to readily confront the corona virus pandemic and to comply with the national emergency plan to combat the widespread of the virus.

The training took place for 4 training days including 4 workshops comprised of the use of artificial respiration, respiratory airway management, infection control workshop, and clinical simulation workshop.

Ms. Latifa Al-Fuhaid, Director of the Center for Simulation and Training of Clinical Skills, stated that this particular course is under the supervision and follow-up of the Training and Education Administration of the Health Assembly in Al-Qassim. This is also accredited by the Specialization Authority with 20 hours of medical education.
