Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Qassim successfully conducted the 52nd Awareness Campaign to prevent heart diseases. This was inspired with its theme “Your Heart is Your Life, Protect Your Heart’s Youth”. The said campaign was massively attended by more than 250 academic faculties and students from the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies which is an affiliation of the University of Qassim led by their College Dean, Dr. Aisha Shamrani.

PSCCQ Director of Communication, Relation & Awareness Administration Ms. Mariam Ghalib Al Harbi, explained that this campaign organized by the center’s Awareness Section is only a part of the series of awareness campaigns in cooperation with the Guidance and Counseling Bureau. This is actually set up by the Center with different segments of society as its target recipients.

Accordingly, the faculty and students who attended were medically examined related to the indicators of heart disease. This campaign is in general a very good aid and preparation in the early recognition and detection of this ailment.

Moreover, PSCCQ is willingly determined to hold similar campaigns in the future in order to help the people of the region be medically aware and be cautious of their health.
